Holloween is coming up fast…

It’s Gatsby meets Ghastly at the 140-year-old Bull Mansion. The veil lifts to a Haunted Halloween party in 1929 the Party is in the ballroom and actors haunting all 3 floors.

Specters from the final Halloween before the end of prohibition haunt the halls. Dance and enjoy spirits (booo!) and spirits (*wink*) as 1920s music play in the ballroom by resident Speakeasy Spectacle Niki Luparelli and the Gold Diggers! Interspersed with just the right amount of floor performances by some of New England’s best burlesque and variety acts!

VIP Tickets include: Early admission for VIP Hour 7:30-8:30. During VIP hour there will be the option of a vintage dance lesson or take your drink and enjoy a guided haunted house tour through the Mansion! Glass of Champagne upon entry and appetizers!

that’s tonight and Friday, October 19th.. and again on Friday & Saturday, October 26th & 27th

you can join WPI on October 17th at 7pm for a spooky scavenger hunt at Worcester Public Library. Teams of two will search for clues within the library. Be sure to bring your smartphone to take pictures of the clues you discover. The pair that finds the most clues will receive a fun prize!

The Central Square flea market will get an extra boost this Sunday when the Central Square Food Truck Festival rolls into Cambridge. Enjoy live music, a beer garden from Lamplighter Brewing, family-friendly activities, and food from more than 30 popular local trucks. (Sunday, Oct. 14 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m , Cambridge; free; all ages)

The 2nd Annual 2018 qFLIX Worcester Film Festival kicked off this past Thursday night and  will run until Sunday  8 PM..  at the Historic Hanover Theater.. check out qflixworcester.com (thats q F L I X) for more on the films and events connected to it.

It’s not even October yet, but if convenience stores can sell Halloween candy, you can definitely enjoy a haunted attraction. including Quincy’s Ghost Ship Harbor, a spooky experience on the USS Salem that started in 2016 and will open for the season today. Guests can visit up to four different haunting experiences that GSH founder Matt DiRoberto promises will “scare the ship out of you”  this runs through Nov. 3.
